If it weren't for your maturity none of this would have happened
If you weren't so wise beyond your years
I would've been able to control myself
If it weren't for my attention you wouldn't have been successful and
If it weren't for me you would never have amounted to very much

you oughta know
You Oughta Know"I want you to know, that I'm happy for youI wish nothing but the best for you bothAn older version of meIs she perverted like meWould she go down on you in a theatreDoes she speak eloquentlyAnd would she have your babyI'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother'cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't ableTo make it enough for you to be open wide, noAnd every time you speak her nameDoes she know how you told me you'd hold meUntil you died, till you diedBut you're still aliveAnd I'm here to remind youOf the mess you left when you went awayIt's not fair to deny meOf the cross I bear that you gave to meYou, you, you oughta knowYou seem very well, things look peacefulI'm not quite as well, I thought you should knowDid you forget about me Mr. DuplicityI hate to bug you in the middle of dinnerIt was a slap in the face how quickly I was replacedAre you thinking of me when you fuck her?'cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't ableTo make it enough for you to be open wide, noAnd every time you speak her nameDoes she know how you told me you'd hold meUntil you died, til you diedBut you're still aliveAnd I'm here to remind youOf the mess you left when you went awayIt's not fair to deny meOf the cross I bear that you gave to meYou, you, you oughta know'cause the joke that you laid on the bed that was meAnd I'm not gonna fadeAs soon as you close your eyes and you know itAnd every time I scratch my nails down someone else's backI hope you feel it...well can you feel itWell, I'm here to remind youOf the mess you left when you went awayIt's not fair to deny meOf the cross I bear that you gave to meYou, you, you oughta know

Stefan Heym, author of Schwarzenberg
Helmut Flieg (April 10, 1913 - December 16, 2001) was a German-Jewish writer, known by his pseudonym Stefan Heym. He lived in the United States (or served in its army abroad) between 1935 and 1952, before moving back to the part of his now-partitioned native Germany which was the German Democratic Republic (GDR, "East Germany"). He published works in English and German at home and abroad, and despite longstanding criticism of the GDR remained a committed socialist.Helmut Flieg (April 10, 1913 - December 16, 2001) was a German-Jewish writer, known by his pseudonym Stefan Heym. don't take life too seriously
bashing the candle,
Bleeding the weasel,
bleedin the weed,
buffing the banana,
bopping the baloney,
burping the worm,
choking the chicken,
cleaning your rifle,
corking the bat,
cranking the shank,
cuffing the carrot,
fisting your mister,
flogging your dog,
floggin the frog,
flogging the hog,
flogging the log,
flute solo,
jerkin'the gherkin,
looping the mule,
manual override,
painting the pickle,
pocket pinball,
pocket pool,
polishing the banister,
polishing the rocket,
pounding your flounder,
pumping the python,
roping the pony,
spanking the monkey,
teasing the weasel,
tossing the turkey,
walking the dog,
whipping the willy,
wonking your cronker,
yanking the crank.

The Philosophy of Time Travel by Roberta Ann Sparrow
The Tangent Universe
....The Primary Universe is fraught with great peril.
War, plague, famine and natural disaster are common.
Death comes to us all.
....The Fourth Dimension of Time is a stable construct,
though it is not impenetrable.
....Incidents when the fabric of the fourth dimension
becomes corrupted are incredibly rare.
....If a Tangent Universe occurs, it will be highly
unstable, sustaining itself for no longer than several
weeks.
....Eventually it will collapse upon itself, forming a
black hole within the Primary Universe capable of
destroying all existence.

3 methods by which we may learn wisdom
First by reflection which is the noblest,
second by imitation which is easiest,
and third by exerience which is the bitterest.

Phonetics of auld lang syne
This is the phonetic transcription of the song. I just started to learn symbols like this in German phonetics class last week! So I was pleasantly surprised to see it outside of the classroom. However to be honest..I can't say I can read it yet!
